Through a six-year partnership with USAID, IREX’s Media Empowerment for a Democratic Sri Lanka (MEND) program improves citizens’ demand for, and access to, balanced, reliable, and objective news and information in Sri Lanka.

MoJo Lanka is a two day festival to showcase Mobile Journalism stories in Sri Lanka. The festival will take place on June 24th and 25th 2023 and will be open to the public.

MoJo Lanka will highlight the work of MEND beneficiaries along with other local content creators. The festival will give attendees a chance to learn, network, share experiences, and receive feedback on their work. National and international guests will have a chance to see the best that Sri Lanka’s content creators can produce.
